While not exactly living up to it’s billing, AA still quite enjoyed this show. Partnered up with Mark and Raj from Malvern Audio Research, I sent a little crew led by my son as my health ruled-out my attendance. They took a full selection from our range of amazing loudspeakers, anticipating squeezing the very best sound quality from Mark and Raj’s front-end.
How did they do? Well, they didn’t disappoint. Everyone settled on the Dundee5s quite quickly, which pleased me no end, and they were well attended despite the low visitor numbers.
The Dundee5s were in their element; Mark’s taste in music runs closely with mine, and I was assured that the musical selections were showing them at their best; someone apparently commented that “those tiny bass units had no right to produce bass like THAT!”
So impressed were Mark and Raj that we were invited up to Malvern Towers for more detailed listening tests (more on this later) and Mike was asked to help them out at the Windsor show, which I’m sure he’s blogged about on his own site. He really enjoyed himself. With Mark and Raj’s help, we’ll make a Salesman out of him yet… LOL
So, thanks to all our visitors and customers. You are all friends of Alacrity Audio.
